Great to see everyone this morning for doughnuts! :)
We won't be able to meet up with the group until Saturday Morning, what are the coordinates for the camp site? Thanks!
We actually stopped at the north entrance by accident. It was very quiet, there is a fair amount of cattle grazing happening. The dunes will have changed significantly in a month, all depends on weather. The OHV area was quite busy, I would expect that during the week it is significantly...
Sorry for the late reminder- you will need a Washington State Discover pass Discover Pass, WA - Official Website | Official Website or pay the $10 fee to visit Palouse Falls. Juniper Dunes doesn't appear to require any kind of pass.
I have the .GPX files and key points available in my Dropbox account.Dropbox
Let me know if you have any trouble getting them. Sounds like we may have some brush to contend with- bring some shears! Looking forward to getting out there soon!
Looks like you got it- welcome aboard! I hope everyone has access to the maps through the onX link in the description. Let me know if you need direct .GPX files- You are going to want them in case you need to navigate solo in case of an emergency.
We are coming up on 4 weeks until the trip! Just a reminder- be prepared for no bathrooms on the route. Burying waste in the desert has become out of vogue in recent times. I suggest WAG bags for everyone to stay happy and sanitary. This will be an awesome trip! I'm very excited to meet all of you!
