After a bit of a fight with blown rear brake lines... got the new ones installed and they work great. Went with the doorman brand. It's like new again... now to change brake pads rotors and hubs.
I'm currently running a 2006 Chevrolet Suburban Z71 4 wheel drive. Just got done installing the bed frame for sleeping arrangements in the back cargo area. Lighting, roof rack, awning, ham radio, and CB I'll installed. 2 inch torsion bar lift in the front and 33s coming next. Let's see your build!
Went ahead and installed the CB radio I had on the rig. I have the UV5R hand Heald Ham Radio. The plan is to add GMRS soon as well. Enjoying the process in this nice weather!
Installed my 20-in light bar, ran all my wiring, and connected my ditch lights. That was a fun process. First time hooking up lights in a vehicle. Totally proud of myself, and they look amazing at night. I still have to get LED headlights and I think I'll be squared away for a bit.
Installed my awning and drove out with the kids to test it out at the lake... Success!!! Little by little. Can't wait to start on the bed in the back of the Suburban!!!
Stuck for a minute out here in Omaha Nebraska. As soon as this storm passes I can get back home to Kansas and get to driving my rig! This 73 degree weather sure beats the 88 degrees back home.

Hello fellow Kansas Overlanders! I'm very new to this and am looking to connect with other Overlanders near me. I'm running a 05 Chevrolet Suburban Z71. It's all new to me but as I'm literally putting my rig together for Overlanding. I know I have a lot to learn so I thought I'd reach out.
