Trash and food in the vehicle. I spray ammonia around the vehicle doors and trailer doors.

Get AAA premium. Even with a new vehicle having road service is good insurance. 100 mile tows are a real benefit.

A Garmin InReach will allow two way text messaging to someone at home who can make phone calls for you. I travel with an InReach and an Iridium Sat phone. I buy prepaid minutes before I go on a trip . If I don't use them then great no emergency. You can rent sat phones for a trip. I bought...

A mobile radio for the vehicle. A handheld radio for the hand. Using a handheld radio in a vehicle will not work very well with limited range and the metal of the cabin blocking the signal. Just an exercise in frustration . Radios are cheap enough to get a mobile for a decent price.
