Hi All
Thinking about heading out of Chicago from on Friday April 30 thru Tues May 4th. Would like to hit the southern part of WAT with my Ranger 4x4 (Stock) and RTT. Is there primitive camping that is eaily accessible?
Any tips?
Thanks
Mark
Should get my iKamper annex next week, if so, would like to head out somewhere next weekend.
Where do you all stay near galena? seen blandings landing and Mississippi palisades. Would like a spot with electric hookup if possible. Planning to buy propex, but electric for now
Decided to pull the trigger on an RSI SmartCap topper (arrives on 6th Jan), so selling my ZROADZ overland access rack for 2019+ Ford Ranger with 5 foot bed.
It's an awesome rack.
Paid $1695. selling for $1,000 (firm) without the LED lights (about $150 value).
Available immediately...
Love the tent. Annex - on the fence. It’s nice to have a sheltered entrance and connected space but not a lot of usable room once you have a table in it and needs to be in soft ground (snow/mud) to anchor it.
Indeed. Kinda sucks. Looking forward to getting to Hoosier and Shawnee forest when I can get 3-4 days weekends
I like door county (esp in Winter), but I'm not sure of any dispersed camping or even paid camp[grounds that are open in Winter
I do want to do the WI Adventure Trail
