I grew up in the White Mountains of New Hampshire, got my first dirtbike at age 10, raced enduros through my teens and began extended off road travel with a dual sport as soon as I had a license. The bulk of my outdoor experience has been through backpacking and adventure riding. I got an Isuzu Trooper 5 years ago so my wife, Kayla, could be part of those trips with me. We did a lot of great backcountry trips in the Southwest before coming home to New England last year. Now we have 2 kids and the need for space on 4 wheels has pretty well solidified.
