Decided to clean her up a bit while at work today and found a water leak from the driver side top corner of the window that runs down the pillar and into the floorboard a little. But all in all I'm pretty happy with the purchase
Picked up a nice 2003 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4WD with the 4.7L V8 and full time 4WD today for stupid cheap. Looking to get a fresh start after a few months of dealing with life problems. I tried to upload a few photos here but for some reason, even with the app having permission, I can't get my...
Been a while since the last update. Been super busy with work and I've not had time to do anything, let alone drive the Liberty. After sitting a month or 2, we went to finally drive around and when we started her up I heard what's sounds to be a stuck valve on the intake side and pretty sure it...
I actually ended up picking up this 2003 Jeep Liberty Renegade 4x4 from a work auction for stupid cheap. Just needed a battery. Just recently added some Falken Wildpeak AT3W's
Update:
Finally getting some tires put on the Renegade. Kinda digging the Falken Wildpeak AT3W's. I'm glad I sat here while they were doing it, got to look at the front suspension and I'm definitely in need of upper and lower ball joints to both sides ♂️. What do you all recommend to get...
Little bit of an update on the Renegade. I'm having a bit of an issue to get it inspected, apparently since I replaced the battery all of the sensors have to relearn themselves. So I'm having to put some miles on it to get everything to reset, as it was saying that sensors were not ready when I...
Yeah those are functional light pods they all work, the covers feel like they're a little loose but they don't go anywhere driving on the highway. For halogen bulbs are actually pretty damn bright LOL.
Got a call earlier today letting me know that the Liberty Renegade had arrived and is ready for pickup, just in time for my weekend off . Just finished getting her loaded up on my tow truck and heading home. Gonna start going through it tomorrow.
Yeah, I've heard that they haven't been well accepted but I'm willing to try something a bit different LOL. I've kinda got and idea on what I wanna do. Pretty much looking to do something similar to this build.
So far only known issues was brakes and rotors, needs new plugs and wires. Was running when parked by previous owner. If I remember the first Gen Liberty was actually built on the OG Cherokee frames and is what essentially replaced the Cherokee. Probably just gonna do a slight lift with M/Ts...
Thanks. Hopefully doesn't take to much to get her road ready. Gonna need new brakes all the way around for sure. Going to pick through it once I get it home. I think I got a good deal on it though
