I became interested in four wheeling back in 1987 when I leased my first 4x4. It was a 1987 Ford Ranger STX extended cab. Well, I beat the heck out of that truck and learned a lot about four wheeling including getting around off road without the lifts and big tires that everyone else had. I learned about airing down, spotting, figuring out the best line to take, taking it slow and easy and recovering my friends' rigs, as well as calling friends to rescue me!
Luckily I was into CB radio and had friends with CB as well. Before I got into four wheeling I was into muscle cars and any kind of auto racing.
