Have you thought about maybe using a solar powered exterior perimeter light. They sell them everywhere. Maybe attach a magnet to the base so you can mount while stationary and remove it when rolling out.

They work okay but I will tell you that when I lived in Missouri me and some buds went deer hunting for the last few days of the season. So mid January. We decided to tent camp. Long story ahort....buddy heater worked well until the temps dropped and the tank froze.

So I got my ARB awning in and I ordered mounting brackets but they will not be here in time and they are $20 a piece. So I decided to DIY the crap out of it. 3 steel shelf brackets and 3 u bolts from home depot.. approx $30 bucks Used a step bit to bore the holes out a bit and mounted it up...

What can I say, me and the wife like to cook. When we remodeled our RV I made sure to have counter space.. over 12 feet to be exact
