I love nature, camping, adventure surfing, building stuff and great food. I've spent 30+ years exploring Baja CA, the Sierra Nevada mountains and the western US states by 4x4 , backpacking and by canoe. I love international travel as well, my wife and I backpacked around the world for 9 months before kids. Now we don't go as far and comfort is more important but we'e raising 2 adventuresome teenage girls who love to explore outside with us. I'm most at home in the wild, being self contained and love to make great meals in wild places.
