Happy Holidays folks,
My name is Fritz, I'm a firefighter living in Encinitas, CA. I got into overland travel due to the overcrowded surf breaks in So Cal. A few years back in high school, my buddy and I started out building my Ford Explorer Sport-trac to handle long trips to Baja and Northern California. In the process I fell in love with the Lifestyle of overlanding. I was a basketball player in High school and had opportunities to play in college but decided that Firefighting/EMS and Surfing/Adventuring had my heart at its core. I bought my current rig, 2004 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner just last year after a few learning experiences with some ambitious builds. Ive had a ton of fun building it out and have learned to go to more places than just ocean front trips. My Girlfriend and I met in the EMS world so we both ridiculously long hours, and to clear our heads from the things we deal with at work we plan and execute trips throughout the western US. Looking to meet fun and knowledgeable people to learn from and road trip with. Also if anyones passing through town Hit me up!
