Grew up in the country running through creeks and game trails till just after sun down, and raising/training/showing Egyptian Arabians. I spent 3 years working at a non-profit rustic children's camp teaching out-door education, high/low ropes challenge course, horse back, archery, canoeing, etc all based off of Native American traditions. Trying our best to teach future generations to respect, protect, and foster nature and wildlife. I am proud to say we were able to reach quite a few.
Before that I was fortunate to spend 1 year working with Autistic children teaching life-skills. After the camp I spent 10 years off-shore on vessels in the sub-sea construction and pipe lay industry as a Lead Mechanic/Equipment Operator. 3 of which were international.
After I left oil and gas, I relocated to Puerto Rico to help start a sub-sea communication cable recycling company. Unfortunately it was 2017, and we were lucky enough to witness and survive all 3 Category 5 Hurricanes that year. Due to a medical issue that became apparent during that time I was sent back to the states by the company, and was summarily terminated due to it.
While it did put me in a bad place mentally and legally. I decided to chase an education to try and save myself. In 2020 I completed an Associates in Welding Technologies with advanced certs for pipeline and structural.
Currently I am corking on an Associates in Engineering and an Associates in Robotics.
