Shired Island Camping. This small campsite is right on the Gulf of Mexico with electricity in a few of the sites. Take water to drink and bathe as the well water at this place is "bad"...I have traveled most of Africa and India and haven't had water this bad anywhere. Getting there was an excellent drive through the reserve and saw plenty of wild hogs and water birds. Sunset was amazing and worth the drive just for the view.
