We started at the very top of the blue ridge parkway at 0800 Wednesday morning. We arrived at expo east around 1600 Thur. It would have been better if we took 3 or 4 days to do it.

Make sure you give yourself a couple days. We did the blue ridge parkway 2 years ago and only gave ourselves 2 days. We had to fly through and it wasn't very enjoyable.

Just got off the phone with my dad who is meeting us on Friday with his motorcycle. He registered and got an extra spot along with the tickets so we will have a big plot between all of us. So if anyone needs some extra space we will have plenty.
