Moved to the Desert Southwest since, as Mike Ferrentino put it "I fell in love with the astringent emptiness, the songs of the wind, the unforgiving precision with which a desert punishes the foolish."

Brought up the family camping, Mogolllo Rim, Coconino Nat'l Forest, Weminuche Wilderness, Waterpocket Fold. Such names just exude mystery. Pulled a tent trailer around with the family all through the Intermountain West, and now it's the wife and me. A tent, a truck and a Coleman stove on which to make good coffee.
