Applied mathematician and AI researcher living in the SF Bay Area. I enjoy math, obviously, chess, and go. I also train in judo and muay thai and actively rock climb (when I'm not injured or feeling my age). I enjoy traveling and eating foods from around the world. I have two amazing kids and a beautiful wife and super hyper shepherd husky puppy.
How I got here: I bought my 4runner out of a love of camping and being outdoors and wanting to learn to work on cars myself. I guess I "overlanded" when I was younger in my first Subaru while growing up near the Potomac river and spending summers camping from my car by myself for weeks on end, where ever she could get me that wasn't near other people.
