Carlos Leon
I am a Marine Corps Veteran that operated as an air delivery specialist (parachute rigger). I served in Iraq from 2004-2005. A diving accident left me paralyzed, at the time, from the neck down in 2005. While this was one of the biggest tests in my life, it by no means defined who I was or who I’ll be as a person. I have, since then, competed in the Paralympic Games both in 2008 in Beijing and London in 2012 in the sport of Track & Field. I am currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineer and Computer Science at Florida Atlantic University.
