    Stanislaus NF, mostly closed

    My family and I camped in Stanislaus NF a few weeks ago and yes there was still snow in some areas. We actually went to the Central Valley group meet on our way out but we were so tired we ended up leaving early.

    Where do you put your dishwater?

    I use a lot of paper plates and I just wipe down any pots or pans that I use. Paper plates go in the campfire after use.

    Toilets?

    I use a 5 gallon plastic bucket with a specially made toilet seat. It’s lined with plastic bags and I use kitty litter to absorb odor been uses. https://a.co/d/1e3DStN

    My boys and I installed the OVS Nomadic 270 Awning and boy was it a pain to do. My FSR Evolution RTT was already installed so we had to disconnect the side the awning was to be mounted on to have room to work. We also had to make a Home Depot run for washers to fill in the gap between the OVS...

    It took me and my two teenage sons to lift my RTT into place, I’ve no idea how you did it. One thing is for sure, after all of the effort of getting it mounted I’m not taking it off.
