I live in Los Angeles and went through a fire and was almost displaced and homeless because of it. This sudden disaster gave me a new perspective on life.
We always think that time is long and life is peaceful, but when disaster strikes, everything becomes so fragile. At that moment, I realized that the essence of life lies in feeling, in exploring, in not being confined to one place or one way of life. Our lives should not be limited to the square inches in front of us. The world is a big place with countless landscapes, cultures and stories waiting to be discovered.
In the days after the fire, I have come to realize deeply that the material things we have can disappear at any time, and that what really accompanies us is the abundance of our hearts and the stories we have experienced. I don't want to wait, I don't want to hesitate anymore - I want to take steps to see a bigger world, to feel a different life.
From this moment on, I am going to pursue inner freedom and explore the vastness of the world. I want to see with my eyes, hear with my heart, and measure this vast land with my feet. Whether it's mountains and rivers, or cities where cultures mingle, I want to feel it all.
Life is short, but every journey gives us a clearer idea of who we are and what the meaning of life is.
No more waiting, no more being limited. I want to go out, to embrace the wider world, to create a chapter of my life.
