    New to this. Just joined OB (15066, I think).
    Don't have complete access yet for some reason, but looking forward to hitting the trails!
    I reside in SE Wisconsin
    In the middle of an Overland setup on an '03 Tacoma Xtra cab (pics soon).
    Any assistance or tips would be appreciated.

    Just joined the forum from Cincinnati. I've made a couple ventures over into the Hoosier National Forest around Lake Monroe and would like to learn more about that area.

    Yo! I'm hosting an event at West Sixth Brewing Farm in Frankfort KY and then to Dirty Turtle...Check it out if you can...it's just a day trip but I'm hoping to make it a monthly thing and maybe eventually an weekend...maybe even a moving event from brewery to brewery...(Rhinegeist maybe)...

    Thanks for the invite. It sounds great and I'd love to participate, but my rig is still just stock 4-wheel drive with street tires. I don't think it would handle any real trail driving yet. I don't know anything about Dirty Turtle, but I almost got myself into a mess in the Hoosier National Forest a few weeks back on a trail, so I think I'd better complete some mods before I try any real off-roading.

    Hey man, you mentioned in another post you have a portable air conditioner that you take camping...can you share me the details? I seen mostly poor reviews for home portable AC's. I want something that will run off the battery bank/solar/inverter rather than the engine and therefore be usable when stationary.

    OB members near Cedar Rapids Iowa. We are going to the Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail in May. Come along and enjoy the trip with us. All rigs welcome 600 miles to Lake Superior. Camping along the way, stopping at Potosi, the overhang, Delta Diner, and Madeline Island. Lets go, why not.

    I've been working on a route from Buzzard Roost to the Dunes all on unimproved and secondary road...anyone want to dry run the first 1/4 before i make an official route?

    Hey there! New to the overland community, as well as off roading in general, but my limited research has landed me here. Seems like a great group her at OB. Im in SE Nebraska and planning a trip for next year within around 8 hours from me and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for someone of my experience.

    It isn't at a developed site..It is primitive and just off the road a bit, there a re a lot of them around the HNF.

    Have you been in the HNF much? There are some good camp spots there and it shouldn't be too far for you.
