Had an opportunity to do some volunteer work in our local mountains, while doing it I put together a little YouTube video of it. Link in my IG bio, I’ll posted it here as well.
What a weekend! It was filled with crazy wind, sandstorms, and cold temps. We cut it short and beat the weather home, glad we did, all routes were closed Sunday morning and it would have been a horrible time trying to get home. I’ll be post a post trip blog entry Friday, till then teasers on IG.
Making plans for some winter adventures in the desert. Mojave road, Joshua Tree, may even drive out to Parker. But first looking for an area in Lime Canyon Nv I was told about.
18 hrs of driving later, we are back in Arizona! (Actually we were back yesterday) all moved in and getting back into the groove of life. Glad to be back home. Oklahoma was a fun adventure, but I missed mountains and hate humidity!
Well, our Oklahoma adventure has come to an abrupt end! After 20 months living in tornado alley, we’re selling everything we own and moving back to Arizona! We’ll regroup and plan our next adventure, we’re looking at Salt Lake area to plant some roots! See you all on the west coast!
Getting out on a few shake down trips before making a long haul 4k mile trip to Moab and northern Utah. Those who know me, know I love Utah! Will be there Thursday through Sunday, then have to be in Dallas by 8am Monday! Here’s hoping for clear interstates, and good weather!
Just returned from a quick trip to the north rim. I’ve wanted to do this trip for fifteen years, day after we get back, The state announces Kaibab forest is closed. Whew, just in time! Loved the area, can’t wait to get back!
