Most of the roads are either gravel or packed maintained dirt. Some of the secondary trails are mud. Four wheel drive (especially after rain) is definatly suggested. There are quite a few primitive campsites scattered here and there if you want to get AWAY away

Thank you. I'm more specifically looking for the local ambassador. Big difference between the gulf coast and the mountains of Tennessee or North Carolina. There seems to be (or has been at one point) some interest in getting a local group together. I'm just trying to not step on anyone's toes.
