On my LC, it has a gap between the tailgate and body of the truck. So I ran my cables down the side of the tail gate and down and up into the back of the Cab.
Just wanted to share the idea I came up for my friends fj 100. A tire carrier that mounts over the tow hitch and still allows you to use your tow hitch and keep the Tire from scraping on the ground when on a steep hill.
While your building your Truck Rack, here is one that I made for Pops on his Chevy. It's full size Rack, 4x6, with offroad lights and power plugs on the post holding up the rack. Hope if give you some more ideas on building your rack. 2017 Silverado D-Cab
No I don't have the engine yet because I'm undecided as to go for LC diesel or the Cummings diesel ... and yes, if you have Katana's contact info, that would be most helpful.
One more thing before I go, In putting in a toyota diesel engine where can I get information in doing so and did you ever consider putting in a Cummings 6bt diesel and in Jonsey's swap.
panels 100w each work on a slide rail and extract via remote fob key.... So how much of the roof rack do you get to use for your equipment since your using your solar panel as a wind deflector? Also not sure if your stove will fit on the outside but I was able to load mine on my Tire...
